Hi I'm Mitch

I grew up in St. George Utah. I grew up racing cars and am working my way to become a NASCAR driver. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated High School in 2012 with my associates degree from Dixie State College. I enjoy NASCAR more than any other sport but I like all sports. I have been racing cars since I was 8 years old and am now in a Development Program with a NASCAR driver who is teaching me and bringing me up the ladder to be able to race at the top level of NASCAR. I am currently serving a 2 year mission in the Arizona, Mesa Mission. I love serving and bringing the joy of knowing the gospel truths to others. I like hanging out with friends, movies and having a good time outside. I like camping and riding four wheelers around.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel the Holy Ghost touch my life best when I live the teachings of the church. I love the feelings I get and the joy I feel by being apart of this church.

How I live my faith

I grew up in the church. The church is what has kept me on the right path in life and has made me pretty happy. I got into scouting through my faith. I made a lot of my friends through my faith. I enjoy reading from the Book of Mormon and Bible and learning what I can do to fulfill my purpose here on earth. I enjoy living its teaching and sharing my testimony by example. I am Missionary for the church serving in the Mesa, Arizona mission.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Mitch
We are all sinners. We have been since the fall of Adam and will continue to be until our resurrection. God knew that we would face hardships in life and would be tempted by Satan. He knew that no matter how hard we tried, we would eventually fall short. This is why he provided us with a redeemer. Jesus Christ is the firstborn of the father, the only begotten son in the flesh and our redeemer. He gave his life on the cross to atone for all of our short comings. For this I am truly grateful and cannot begin to understand all that he suffered. But I do know that he understands the challenges I face in life and that through him I can be forgiven of my imperfections. Through him I can really be happy! Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Mitch
As a member of this church, we are taught from a young age that missionary service is something that Christ and his Apostles dedicated their life to. We are asked if we are worthy to follow the example of Christ, to take 2 years out of our life to give in service to the Lord and his children. In no way are we forced to serve. I am serving a mission in the Arizona, Mesa area, and decided to serve a couple years later than most other young men. Its a personal decision for all. I see blessings that will forever impact my life from serving. Show more Show less
