Hi I'm Bryce

I am the oldest of 5 siblings. I am serving as a missionary in Porto Alegre, Brazil. I write music in my spare time. I'm a mormon.

About Me

During high school, my passions were wrestling, cross country running, and singing. outside of that, I use a lot of my time playing piano or singing. Music in general helps me to get away from the world, especially when I am having a bad day and need a break. I love to spend time with my family, even if they are crazy at times. I am currently serving a 2 year mission in the Brazil Porto Alegre North Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so I had always known what i was supposed to do in my life. It wasn't until High School that I realized that I had a choice to make. In doing so, I've learned that the gospel is a necessity in my life. I love the consistency and the security it brings to me and my life. I live the way I do because I know that with God, nothing is impossible. When we have God on our side, we have the ability to accomplish our goals and live a happy life.

How I live my faith

Currently I teach a group of 10 year olds and help them to learn more about the gospel. It's a wonderful experience because they are so smart! they know the stories of the Bible and the Book of Mormon so well and they are very active in participating in the lessons. Prior to teaching, I was a stake youth committee chair, meaning I oversaw that there were activities planned for the youth living in the area. these activities included dances, get togethers, and a opportunities to meet new people and make new friends.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Bryce
Yes! our Heavenly Father is an unchanging God, he has been and always will be the same, past, present and in the future as well. He will always send prophets to the Earth for our benefit. To put it into perspective, imagine a huge wall that can't be climbed over or seen past. On the other side of the wall is God, and he has very important things he needs to tell us. The prophet would be the person on the top of the wall talking to God and then relaying the message over to us. Without the prophet, we would have no actual direction from God as a church.
