Hi I'm Laura

I grew up in Utah. I'm going to Norway on my mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Utah. I went to school for a year at Utah State University. I love Disney. I was in Student Government in high school. I'm very enthusiastic. I've been called to serve in the Norway Oslo mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have done a great job of teaching the importance of this religion. I grew up knowing it is true. I have always been told to find out for myself whether it is true or not, so I would pray asking, but in my heart I realized I don't even need to question it. I already knew the answer. This gospel makes me feel so happy and creates a comforting and loving feeling in my home and with my family. I know that being a Latter-Day Saint is what I am supposed to be. I strive to be better everyday. I know that our prophet Thomas S. Monson was called of God and that what he says is true doctrine. Jesus Christ died for us so that we don't have to suffer and so we can repent of our sins to come back to our Heavenly Father in Heaven. The Book of Mormon is the word of God. It tells us all that we must do. I have faith in our Savior, and I know that with him, we all can accomplish miracles.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the Family Home Evening committee for my singles ward. I love doing small and simple random acts of kindness. I read my scriptures everyday and find myself praying to our Heavenly Father constantly. I am not ashamed of the gospel, because I know it is true.
