Hi I'm Alhi Chavez

I grew up in a small town in Mexico. A few years latter I learned English. I like to help others and I love to be a Mormon.

About Me

Something that really makes me happy is making others happy. I like the world of business. I hope to become an entrepreneur one day. I aspire to start businesses that can help people in as many ways as possible. Every day is a day of service.

Why I am a Mormon

Trying to find and know if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was true, I came across with two simple conclusions. I could either stay or I could leave. If this church was not true, then leaving would be a good decision. If this Church was true, then I would have made one of the best decisions in my life by staying and one of the worst decisions if I leaved. Finding myself in the middle of this dilemma, I decided to ask God for guidance. He, as a perfect God, knows everything and is almighty. I knew that he could help me find an answer to this question. Is this church really true? After praying with all my heart and all my strength, I received an answer. Today, I don't believe this church is true... I KNOW this church is true!

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and sometimes during the week. No matter how many times I go, every time I learn something new. Most important, I learn things that I can apply to my life. I have developed good habits such as reading the word of God every day, pray frequently, abstain from drugs and alcohol, and many more. I know that when we obey God's commandments we do not deprive ourselves from freedom. Instead, we give receive more freedom. All of this brings me so much joy and happiness. A happiness I wish everyone could have. That's why I decided to serve as a missionary for two years. To bring happiness, peace, and the truth to as many people as I can.

What is being a Mormon like?

Alhi Chavez
Being a Mormon is the best thing that you could possibly imagine. Every morning, I wake up knowing that I have a purpose in this life. I have learned that families are for ever. Just by knowing that I can have eternal happiness with my family makes me feel full of joy! Day after day I keep growing as a person and my progress is constant. Being a Mormon brings me peace, motivation, and a lot of happiness. Show more Show less
