Hi I'm Tiana

I live on the Central Coast in New South Wales Australia, I'm an opera singer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a convert to the Church. I was investigating for 2 years before I was baptised in 2013 and I have never been happier. I am the only member of the Church in my family. Its quite difficult at times but I like to think that negativity makes you stronger and it makes your testimony grow because if you wish to stand for truth and righteousness, you hold firm to the iron rod and never let go. Nothing is harder than the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. Today, I study music and I am part of a busy musical lifestyle as well as living the gospel everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was investigating the Church, I had already explored many other religions such as the Hillsong church, uniting church and Anglican. None of them felt like the right church for me. I once asked my music teacher at high school why she never drank tea or coffee and she explained that it was something that she follows at Church called the Word of Wisdom. I was then curious to find out more. In 2011 she invited me to the Christmas carols at the chapel and when I walked in that chapel, it instantly felt like I was safe and peaceful. That night, I received a Book of Mormon and was excited to learn more. Even though I faced a lot of trials in the 2 years I was investigating, on the 2nd May, 2013, I was baptised into the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I have 2 callings in the Church. I am a Young Single Adult representative and assistant music director in Primary. I am from a family who are very disapproving of the Church but I keep strong and read my scriptures and attend Church every Sunday and go to every activity possible which makes my testimony and love for the Church grow stronger.
