Hi I'm Ron

As a drummer/percussionist, I love to make music. If you shake it, scrape it, or hit it - I can play it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to water ski, ride my bicycle, hike, and spend time with my family. I'm a father of 4 children and 7 grandchildren. I'm married to a beautiful lady who has helped me learn how to live within my means. I can even keep money in my pocket thanks to her patience and example.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon, but lived in various places in the US and Europe. As I observe how people find joy in life, I realize how being a Mormon has helped me to cope with challenges. I feel fortunate to have been taught by good parents and hope that my own children will try to make a difference in the world. I see how they are trying to be a good husband or wife and how they work to teach their children concepts that will help them cope in the world while also appreciating the things around them. I learn from them and realize that they are so much better than I was at their age. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ and appreciate His sacrifice in my behalf. Because I can be forgiven of my own mistakes, I feel that I am more willing to forgive others and try to understand those who choose to live or think differently from me.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others. Whether it is working with young people or helping a widow or widower. The feeling I have after serving someone else helps me to appreciate all that I have.
