Hi I'm Aaron

I am Aaron, I love cars, dirt bikes, backpacking, fly-fishing and anything in the outdoors. I am on a mission in Tempe, Arizona!

About Me

My name is Aaron Carter. I am from Blackfoot, Idaho! I am a missionary in the Arizona, Tempe Mission. I like to hunt, fish, backpack, golf, mountain bike, and pretty much anything that has to do with the outdoors. I am not sure what I want to pursue when I get home, but I know the Lord will give me an answer when the time is right. Hopefully something in the mountains and around wildlife. I love my family, especially my stud of a nephew, Gehrig, named after Lou Gehrig. I love being on a mission! I have definitely blessed my life immensely!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I truly love this religion. I know this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith did restore the true church of Jesus Christ. Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the scriptures. My favorite book in the Book of Mormon is the book of Enos. In Enos, he prays for the forgiveness of his sins. Then, after God says, "Enos, thy sins are forgiven thee." Enos asks, "Lord, how is it done?" God says. "Because of thy faith in Christ whom thou hast never before heard nor seen. And many years shall pass away before He shall manifest Himself in the flesh; wherefore, go to, thy faith had made thee whole." The faith in Christ that Enos has is immense. It truly is an example of what our faith should be like. But now, in our day, we need even stronger faith because of the constant bombardment of garbage thrown at us by Satan. The adversary is working harder than ever to get people to deny the Christ. But we can find solace and comfort in and through Jesus Christ. He is the light and the way and the truth. By Him, and only Him can mankind be saved.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Aaron
We do not worship Joseph Smith. However, we do consider him to be a prophet of God. We worship God our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. We worship Jesus Christ because we know that He is the way back to our Heavenly Home. Show more Show less
