Hi I'm Scott

I'm a 16 year old boy scout. I enjoy the out doors, climbing anything, I like to eat stuff and sleep and i am a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, my name is Scott, I live in the south (the USA) and enjoy things like the outdoors, movies, (but not together) carving and reading. I am also a cancer survivor of a deadly bone cancer, that's probably the thing that sets me apart the most. I believe in The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints because I have known it’s fullness and have enjoyed the peace and joy that it brings. One of my favorite parts of our church is the plan of salvation. Which teaches that we were with our Heavenly Father before we came to this earth, that we can be together forever with our family if we are sealed in the temple, and that there are three degrees of glory (or heavens ) that we can enter, instead of just a heaven and hell. This way more than just the “believers” avoid hell, it makes it more fair. This is one of my favorite things about our church because it rings of true justice, and of more love. I believe this in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and have understood its teaching even when I was small, but didn't truly believe or know it was true until I read the Book of Mormon for myself. I didn't even realize that I actually believed it until I finished the Book of Mormon and it struck me that I believed every word that it said. I am a mormon because I have felt it for myself.

How I live my faith

I am a full time missionary for our church, and will be for the next two years. I will teach the gospel to people and do as Jesus would everyday of those years. After that I will continue serving in any way that our church asks, though I am not and will not be paid for it. (it's what Jesus would do)
