Hi I'm Xela

I'm from St. George, Utah. I love music and sports and being with family and friends. I LOVE TO SHARE THE GOSPEL! I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a sophomore in college. I want to major in Elementary Education. I love to play the piano and the flute. I also love to do things outdoors including tennis, hiking, and going on long walks. I will be leaving on my mission in July 2014 to Houston, Texas and I am so excited! I love the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. I grew up with my parents being members of the church and serving in their callings through the years. I was baptized when I was eight years old and have regularly attended my meetings ever since. I can't imagine my life without the gospel! I have no idea where I would be without it. I have had the spirit witness to my heart that the things taught in this church are true. I have had experiences in my life that have confirmed to me that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and cares about me. I want to return to live with Him someday, so I strive each day to be worthy to enter His presence and have eternal life.

How I live my faith

I have several callings in my ward. I am a member of the presidency of the Relief Society in my ward, which is the women of the ward. I am also an assistant camp director for Young Women's Girls' Camp this year. I am a visiting teacher to several sisters in my ward, and I help with the music.
