Hi I'm AnnaSue!

I'm an Irish Dancer. I like to smile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Folk Dancer at BYU majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in World Dance. I am the second oldest of nine children and love being part of a family whose world is full of moonlit walks in the foothills, eating big bowls of popcorn on Sundays, curling up for reading nights around the fireplace, camping out in “The Toad” (our old pop-up trailer) and singing at the piano together. I love dancing with my sisters and sword fighting with my brothers. I've traveled to Mexico to build homes for needy families there and have witnessed how love and service brings people together in Christ. For the last six years I have taught piano and Irish Dance in my family’s Studio #9 and love seeing the joy that comes from gaining greater knowledge. Reciting poetry makes me happy. Recent favorites are "A Poem with One Fact" and "When Earth's Last Picture is Painted." I will soon be leaving to share the joyous message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Latvia. I am thrilled!!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Heavenly Father loves me. He loves all of His children. I know Christ is my Savior and that he died so we can live again. I want to be like Him. I have joy knowing that I can live with Him again. I am a Mormon because I believe that through Christ's atonement all can be saved. What joy that brings to me.

How I live my faith

Music and dance have created a great outlet for me to incorporate my passions into my participation in this marvelous work. I have worked with the youth in teaching them dances for various activities, including the Boise Temple Youth Cultural Celebration for the re-dedication of the temple. I have also enjoyed playing piano for the choir and organizing music for each Sunday's meetings. I share what I know by the way I live my life. I love smiling at people, finding a smile to be the simplest way to cheer up someone's day. This gospel is one of joy and I want to share that joy with everyone I see.
