Hi I'm Cassie

I'm a wife, mother and business owner. I'm an emotional and energy practitioner. I love working with people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife to an amazing and supportive man and a mother of two beautiful children. I'm an entrepreneur and love the idea of starting businesses with my passions. I use to own my own party planning business, and still love planning and putting on parties. Now, however, I have found great purpose and meaning as an emotional and energy practitioner. I help people release their own negative energy to help them get over life's hurtles and blocks so they can live freer and fuller lives. I love everything creative. I love to paint, make and create. I love getting messy but hate cleaning up. I also love music and play the piano, dance and sing. I've tried to learn to play the guitar a few times...someday I'll get there. I love nature and and studying about plants and herbs and their benefits for us. I love being outside and hiking. I love to garden, but am afraid of spiders, so consequently, I never get too far. I love to spend time laughing with my family. We try to not take life too seriously, but I find deep peace in living the precepts of the gospel. I love life. Even when it gets stressful and crazy, deep down, I love the life I was given and am so grateful for the opportunities my Heavenly Father has given me to learn, grow and thrive.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, first of all, because I was born into the church. My parents have both been strong examples to me on how important the gospel is to know, understand and live. I've always had a testimony of the gospel. However, there are a few moments in my life where I have felt the spirit so strong and so undeniably, that have helped me keep true to the faith. These times have always been in consequence of heart-felt prayer. I have a HUGE testimony on how real prayer and faith are. It just takes a sincere heart and open mind and a desire to know the truth to experience for ourselves the truthfulness of God's love for us, his desires for us to return to him and live a life that is worthy of that return. Prayer and personal revelation is so key in learning the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. Once I got that confirmation, the gospel became more beautiful, powerful, merciful and blessed as I kept, and keep, learning about it. Living the precepts of the gospel of our Heavenly Father is truly the way to find pure peace and true happiness in this life.

How I live my faith

At the moment I work with the bear cub scout den in our ward and before that I worked with the 10-11 year old girls. I LOVE it. Working with kids has been a huge blessing in my life. They are so fun and ready to learn. I was the youngest of two children growing up and so kids intimidated me greatly. But after these callings working with kids, I have found that I can learn so much from them and have a great time with them as we complete the activity days and cub scout activities. I try to live my life by the precepts of the gospel. I try to always be open for opportunities to serve and bear my testimony in quiet and appropriate ways. I get many opportunities through my business to talk about how we all have a Heavenly Father who loves each and every one of us the same; whose love surpasses our comprehension. And how our Brother and Savior, Jesus Christ wants to heal us and help us live a happy life while we are here on Earth.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Life did not begin, nor does it end with our life here on Earth. This is just a "testing period" where we are asked to go through immortality and experience opposites like pain and health, love and hatred, evil and good, and life and death. We are here simply to receive a body and to see if we will choose righteousness by our own free-will and choice, even without remembering where we came from and where we are going. After this "testing period" we will then return to the spirit world from whence we came. Depending on our faithfulness in this life, and the circumstances we lived in, we will be judged by a merciful and fair Heavenly Father and will be placed in the heavens accordingly. If we do our best, as our circumstances allow, and have accepted Jesus Christ as our savior (everyone will have an opportunity to do so whether in this life or the next) and if we do what we can to follow His commandments, we will have the privilege to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again with our families, as eternal units. And this is the ultimate goal that is achievable by all who have chosen to come to the Earth. We just have to choose it, and live by that choice. Show more Show less
