Hi I'm Dahlin Jordan

I grew up in Southern Utah, I love music, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Southern Utah. My mom is a stay at home mom and my dad is a music teacher so I have been around music a lot my whole life and I love it. I play many instruments and I can also sing. My grandpa played football in high school so he wanted me to do the same. I played on the line for my four years of high school and I really enjoyed it.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know that it is the true church. I have learned for myself through prayer and by reading my scriptures that everything we practice in our religion comes from God. Anyone, if they have an open mind and an open heart, can also know for themselves how this is the true church. There are a lot of other great religions that have a lot of truth to them, but only this church has the full truth. Knowing the full truth is the happiest way to live.

How I live my faith

I always read my scriptures everyday. I love to read The Bible, The Book of Mormon and anything else that teaches me about the gospel and helps me to gain a testimony. I find it very fulfilling to go to church every Sunday. I have a calling in the church as the second assistant to the bishop in the priests quorum. The priest quorum in our church is the group of young men ages 16 to 18. As I follow the things I learn from the scriptures and the things I learn from going to church, it makes me happier in my life.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Dahlin Jordan
A testimony is the the knowledge of the gospel. The more the holy spirit testifies to you of the truth, the stronger your testimony will grow. We need our testimony to be strong, a weak testimony is much more susceptible to Satan's temptations, so the stronger your testimony is, the better. Show more Show less
