Hi I'm Keaton

I grew up in various places within the United States. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day States.

About Me

I grew up in several places within the United States. This has given me a healthy respect for people of different cultures or beliefs than mine. I love music, reading, sending plastic bottle rockets into space, and learning new things. I also love to serve other people. I am currently serving a mission in the great California Ventura Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was raised by a loving family who raised me in the gospel. I discovered the truthfulness of it for myself by reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it. I also have received many blessings in my life from living the standards I have been taught. Many times, I have been aided in small and simple ways which have strengthened my belief in my faith. For example, there have been times when I lost something I really needed. After striving to find whatever it was on my own, I have prayed. In the times I sincerely needed it, I immediately found what I was looking for. Overall, I continue to be a Mormon because it has given me peace in my life. The truths I have learned and the direction I have gained are a constant strength and direction in the troubled winds of life.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed in the past with many opportunities to serve in leadership positions. However, the greatest opportunity I have had to serve others has come from my own family. Simply being kind to siblings, or giving a helping hand when it was needed is some of the most basic opportunities I've found to serve.
