Hi I'm Seth

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Utah, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the middle child in my family, and the only boy. I have two loving sisters, one older, one younger, and an amazing mom and dad. I enjoy playing soccer, tennis, mountain biking with friends and family, skiing, running, and really anything athletic. I enjoy playing the piano and have been a piano teacher for four years. When I'm not at a Real Salt Lake soccer game at the Rio Tinto, I'm studying my favorite subjects: math, anatomy, physics, chemistry, and psychology to name a few.

Why I am a Mormon

Because of my faith and love for Jesus Christ, I have chosen to be a member of this church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which I believe to be the only true and living church upon the face of this earth. My membership in this church is not based on outside influences, but on personal witnesses of truth I have received through the power of the Holy Ghost, having faith in Christ. The testimony I have gained of the truthfulness of this church and its restoration through the prophet Joseph Smith in these days is, and will continue to be, one of the greatest blessings in my life. I consider the eternal truths found in the gospel to be more valuable than any knowledge obtained by scientific inquiry, or by any other worldly means.

How I live my faith

I am excited to serve as a Spanish speaking missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Birmingham, Alabama for the next two years. One of my favorite things to do as a member of this faith is to frequently attend the temples. It is in these holy houses of the Lord where I find peace, light, knowledge, and truth. I know I come closer to my Savior Jesus Christ in these beautiful buildings.
