Hi I'm Anita

I'm a teacher. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of a 14 year old young man. I lenjoy working out on my free time. I love my job. Teaching is definitely one of the many blessing I enjoy of in my life. I plan to go back to school soon to get my masters. I am a life-long learner both spiritually and temporally. My favorite thing to do is travel. My family and I have traveled all over the United States, some parts of Mexico, and Canada.

Why I am a Mormon

I got baptized in the church when I was 16 years old. The gospel of Jesus Christ has brought peace into my life. It has given it meaning. No, it hasnt been easy at times, but the challenges have helped me grow spiritually and closer to the Lord. It has been a blessing in my life to see my son grow in the gospel and to strive to live by its principles. Becoming a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has truly been a great blessing in my life. I know that we are all children of our Heavenly Father. He loves us. Jesus Christ is our Savior. We can do all things with him on our side. Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by following the example of my Savior Jesus Christ. I try to be a little more like him everyday. A little more patient, kind, loving, forgiving, and faithful. I strive to show more love to those that surround me. I read my scriptures on my own, and with my family on a daily basis. We have a family gathering (Family Home Evening) every Monday to talk about things that are going on in our lives, and to teach a lesson based on the needs of our family. I share the gospel that has blessed and changed my life with the people that surround me. I have served in the young women's organization for several years. My family and I have served in a small branch about 25 miles away from our home for 5 years as stake missionaries.
