Hi I'm Dalton

I grew up in Preston Idaho. I enjoy the nerdier things in life. I'm just your average teenage boy, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As I said before, I enjoy nerdy things, such as Star Wars and video games. I like wood working as well, mainly when it comes to turning pens on my lathe. Sculpting is another hobby of mine, and although I'm not that practiced yet, I hope to be someday. Right now I am getting ready to serve an LDS mission, and will be going to the Louisiana Baton Rouge mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my entire life, but there was a time in my life when I was not entirely active in going to church and participating like I should've been. It was when I was 12 years old that my mother passed away, and that was something that really took a toll on my emotionally. Because of it, I was inactive, I didn't want to participate in anything church related. But eventually something changed, I never realized how distant I had become with my Heavenly Father, but a friend of mine brought me back, he showed me what it was like to be an active member again. I am now getting ready to serve a mission for my church, and I know that it is what The Lord wants me to do, and that he will be watching over me and guiding me through the spirit. I know that His son Jesus Christ lived, and that He was sacrificed for us, that we may be cleansed through Him, of all our wrong-doings. I am happy to be a part of this church, and I do know of it's truthfulness and of it's life-changing ability. It has changed my life as I have been fully converted to this gospel.

How I live my faith

I am currently attending the young single adult's ward, and my calling in that ward is sacrament coordinator. With that calling, I come to church early to set up everything that is necessary for the sacrament. That means I bring the bread, I fill up all the water cups, and I set it all up on the sacrament table, so that it is ready to be blessed during the meeting.
