Hi I'm Mitchell Wahl

I was born in Germany, grew up in Utah, and have spent the last few years in New Zealand.

About Me

For the past few years, I have been living in New Zealand, with my grandparents, where I have learned how to cook, garden, and take care of animals. I am a student at the University of Auckland, where I am studying Economics and Commerce. My hobbies include bike riding, jogging, tennis, basketball, baseball, and swimming in the ocean. I enjoy reading books about economics. I play the piano and the guitar. I like to talk to others in German and French.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the church means that I know where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going. It is a way that I can fill my life with meaning and purpose. Without it, I would be lost. The Lord has not left us alone. He has established His church and revealed His plan. He wants us to be successful, happy, contributing members of society. He has provided us with the principles of a happy life. He has warned against dangers. He blesses us and gives us guidance and power to resist temptation.

How I live my faith

Living my faith means going to church every week and attending Young Single Adult activities. It means keeping myself unspotted from the sins of the world and being an example to others. What I enjoy the most about being a member of the church, is that I can attend the temple. I have been a Sunday school teacher for the youth. I play the piano during meetings. I attend religious classes and participate in church meetings. By reading the Book of Mormon, I have gained a testimony of the restored gospel and have grown closer to Jesus Christ.
