Hi I'm Samantha

I'm a farm girl from Oklahoma turned military wife and mom of three now living in the real out of Georgia.

About Me

I grew up as the daughter of a farmer in Oklahoma. When I wasn't at the farm I was on the court playing basketball or in center field catching fly balls for my high school softball team. I married a guy in the Air Force and quickly moved to Georgia. After a year of marriage I joined the LDS church and have loved every moment of it. Now in Georgia I am a 26 year old mo of three who is active in the church as well as coaching the kids baseball and basketball teams, while helping with my husbands squadron on base and being a full time college student as well. I love being outdoors and nothing is better than being in the pool with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be Mormon in December of 2006. Besides marrying my husband this is the best thing I have done. I have never been so close to my Heavenly Father. I joined because all my life growing up in many other churches I never felt "home". I never felt complete and fulfilled. After my husband (who was born in to the religion) asked me to visit with the missionaries I began to ask many questions and the more answers I heard the more fulfilled I began to feel full. I get a great sense of peace and calmness every time I read my scriptures or speak with my Heavenly Father and I can see the blessing my family receives on a daily basis.

How I live my faith

Within my church I have done many things in the seven years I have been a member. I have gone from being a secretary in our Primary (children's church) to teaching a woman's class for a few years and now I am over of all our activities. I have planned everything from a Valentine's Day Dance to a Halloween bash and a Pig Roast/ Luau.
