Hi I'm McKenna

I'm a dancer, a singer, a reader. I love people and children. I'm working toward a degree in Education. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing, read, and DANCE! I absolutely love Ballroom dancing. I currently work at a yogurt shop and am preparing to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This Church is my life, and I can't imagine myself without it. I love my family very much and am pleased to be able to live with them forever. I love sharing the Gospel. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this Church, and some people can take that to mean that I have chosen this Church simply because that is all I've ever known, and it isn't true. I attended with my parents as a child, but decided to be baptized because I felt it was true. I have had experiences with the Holy Ghost that have impressed to me the truthfulness of this Gospel. I know that this Church is the true Church of God on the earth. I know that this is the same Church that Christ organized while He was on the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he really did see the things he said he did and that he really did translate the Book of Mormon from the ancient record. I know that the Book of Mormon is the truest of any book on this earth and that it can bring anyone closer to God if they have a heart open to the Spirit of the Lord. I know that our modern prophet, Thomas S. Monson, is a true prophet of God and that he receives true revelation for us in our day. I know that God is not dead and that he continues to speak to us, His children, today. I know that the temple is the house of the Lord, and that through the Priesthood, we can live with our families forever with God after death. I know these things to be true because the Spirit of God has manifested to me that they are true. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Like I said, this Church is my life. I have served in many capacities in the Church in many different places. I just really love this Church. I share it with my friends, I keep the covenants I've made in the temple of the Lord, and I live the standards of the Church. I love to share the Gospel, and bring it up when I have the chance to share it. I attend the temple often and attend Church each week. Everyone around me knows of my faith because I show it to them. I would love for everyone to know of the wonderful message that we have for them.
