Hi I'm Logan

I grew up Idaho helping my parents out with our family restaurant. I love history and running, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've grown up working together with my family at our local restaurant that my grandpa started and that my dad took over initially to pay his way through college. He stuck with it and it's given me an opportunity to learn work and responsibility throughout my life as well as family unity. I love learning about history and am currently going to school studying history education. I think it's essential for us to understand our past in order for us to understand the present and act responsibly for the future. I am amazed at the manifestations of God's hand in the lives of his children throughout the history of this world and believe that through sharing this very important subject with others that they can see that divine guidance as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I believe God is a God of order and of truth, and through prayer and experience I have witnessed for myself the influence of the Holy Spirit in the building up of His kindgom upon the earth. I believe that the church exists as an organization by divine appointment as a means of uniting God's children to the fulness of Christ's gospel and establishing truth as spoken by the word of God. It bears the name of Christ because it is established by His inspiration and under His guidance. I am grateful for it and know that it has blessed me throughout my life and those blessings are available for all who are willing to receive it.

How I live my faith

I think the most important way I live my faith is by the day to day things that usually get overlooked. The way we treat people on the street, in the store, in the classroom, at the front counter, are all ways that we can show and express Christ-like love and charity for those around us. Doing the right thing when no one is there to notice and regardless of the consequence is something I believe God expects of us and wants us to do so that we can feel a greater presence of His Spirit in our lives.
