Hi I'm Brett

I was born and raised in California. I love to play sports, especially football. I love my life. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am 19 years old and I couldn't be happier. I had a wonderful childhood growing up in Northern California. Growing up I loved to play basketball and football. I even ended up being a captain of my high school football team. I had so much fun throughout high school playing football, but it definitely came with its share of challenges. I was injured a lot and had to have three shoulder surgeries. It was really hard for me, but I was able to get through it. I just finished my first year of college and I'm looking forward to continuing my education!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Mormon and have always recognized it as the true Church of Jesus Christ on the earth today. The Holy Spirit has touched me and shown me that staying on this path is right for me. I know that I can never be as happy as I am now with any other church. The blessings I have received in my life are so numerous and so amazing, and I know without a doubt that they've come because of my faith in my Savior Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because it makes me the best and most happy person that I can be.

How I live my faith

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I know it to be true. Growing up as a member of the Church was a wonderful blessing for me. I was able to see the example of my parents and others around me, I saw how the Gospel blessed and enriched their lives. Now that I am older, I can see it doing the same thing to my life. Because I know this, I have decided to serve a two year mission for the Church. I will be going to the Mexico City West Mission for two years as a representative of Jesus Christ. I will be serving the Lord as I spread my faith and love for His Gospel. That is how I will be living my faith.
