Hi I'm Lars

I'm a student, outdoor enthusiast, and love to learn. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I a single college student studying to become a accountant. I love being in the outdoors. I like to do tons of things but soccer and canyoneering are my favorite hobbies. My family consists of my parents, three sisters, and one brother. They're the most important thing in the world to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I would say my faith is not confirmed by one experience but by many small, simple, and powerful experiences. My family are have been members a couple generations back. I was baptized at the age of eight. Many people say that in order to truly know something, you must see it. I have never seen God or Jesus Christ, but I know with all my heart they are real. My confirmation that God exists and Jesus Christ is our savior did not come by seeing them, but by a much more powerful witness. It came from a feeling after I had prayed and ponder about Jesus Christ's atonement. A feeling that was so strong that it was undeniable. More powerful than anything words could communicate or eyesight could confirm. It is the purest and most genuine knowledge that I know. I share this with you because the gratitude and thankfulness I have for the knowledge of my Savior Jesus Christ and that God is our loving Heavenly Father. I invite you to find out for yourself by reading the Book of Mormon. The prophet Moroni, in the Book of Mormon, taught that all sincere readers will receive a witness from God it is true. I know that it is. I know that as you sincerely exercise your faith in Jesus Christ, you will know with an a surety and a witness from God that Jesus Christ is your savior and God is your Heavenly Father. I leave these things to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I believe service brings the greatest joys in this life. I served a mission in Germany. I am so thankful for that experience. I am currently serving as a sunday school president form my singles ward.
