Hi I'm Chelsea

I grew up in Utah and I love to laugh. I'm preparing to serve a full-time LDS mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently finished my second year of college and loved it! I was able to grow and learn so much and meet some amazing people who became my best friends. I just started trying to teach myself how to play the ukelele...we'll see how that goes. I am also the 5th child of 6 children. I love my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because God has given me guidance and inspiration through the Holy Ghost that this is His church on the earth. As I visited some of the historical sites for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon church), I came to know that this church is not just a church. It is bigger than you or I can imagine and this message of love and joy will fill the earth! My testimony of the Mormon church came from deep and poignant feelings from the Holy Ghost. I have found Moroni to be very correct and his words to be very true when he says (in the Book of Mormon) "And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things."

How I live my faith

Currently, I am preparing to serve a full-time mission for my Savior, Jesus Christ. A full-time mission for me is 18 months of pure focus on sharing the message of this church with everyone I can. I feel so privileged to serve Jesus Christ. He has given everything for me! He loves me and I strive to help everyone I meet feel that love through me. I want everyone to feel of His love. I really do strive to share this message of hope with everyone.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

I've come to learn from personal experiences that God is so kind, merciful and very ready and willing to embrace us and help us. He knows and understands us each on an individual and very personal level. He created us in His image. He has a glorified body of flesh and bones. Because He loves us so much, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to help us so that we could return and live with Him again. Show more Show less
