Hi I'm Rachel

I grew up in Utah. I love long-distance running, math, and adventuring in the mountains. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've finished a year of college and I'm still exploring what I want to study. I'm really interested in math, linguistics, and economics. I started learning Latin this year. I hope someday to speak five languages fluently. I love long-distance running, biking, swimming, and competing in triathlons. I also love to be in the mountains when I'm skiing, backpacking, hiking, and any other adventuring in the outdoors. When I'm home I love to play the piano and sing with my siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members to LDS Church, so I was born and raised in an awesome family and taught to live the Gospel from childhood. My parents are very active in our faith. I have continued to follow the Gospel because as I got older, I always felt that living the way I have been taught in the Church and in my home makes me happy. I am able to help others and find happiness in my relationships. I have felt in my heart as I have studied the Book of Mormon and the Bible and prayed that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and that following the Gospel is the right thing to do. I continue because even though I am imperfect, I have made promises with God that keep my heart in the right place and keep me trying to be a little better all the time.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by coming to church. I sing in the ward choir sometimes and play the piano when needed.
