Hi I'm Kyrie

I'm a missionary and aspiring doctor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up and have lived in Utah for most of my life. I am the oldest of four kids and I love being an older sister. I just graduated from college with a degree in Biology and am preparing to serve a Spanish speaking mission to California. After that I hope to attend medical school and someday become a doctor. I love helping people whether they be young or old. I love being outdoors surrounded by God's amazing creations doing pretty much anything. I also love learning knew things and can often be found reading a good book.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family where my parents were both members of the church, however this is not the reason I am a member. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-Day Saints because I know in my heart that it is true. As teenager I read the Book of Mormon and learned of its truthfulness for myself. The scriptures say that if something is good and brings forth good fruit then it is of God. This book is good and everything in it challenges me to be good and be better. Once I know this then I know that everything surrounding the Book of Mormon must also be true. Each time I read this book, attend church, or hear the voice of one of the Lord's prophets the spirit testifies to me over and over about the truth and goodness behind them and the happiness I will receive if I follow the teachings found within. This knowledge tells me that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me and wants me to be happy. I know that I am his daughter and because of that I know that I have divine potential and can someday become like him. I know that is through the teachings and ordinances found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that we become who we need to be to return to live with Him someday. I also know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He died for me and everyone that has ever lived. I also know that He lives and that because of Him we will all live again. I know that families are central to God's plan and that through the ordinances found in the temple I will be with my family forever. It is because of the truth of all of these things as well as the peace and joy that each of them brings to my life that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my faith by following the Prophet and trying to live as the Savior lived. Each week I attend church so I can partake of the sacrament and worship God. I do my best to serve my fellowmen by looking for those in need and being a visiting teacher in my ward. Right now I am living my faith by sharing the gospel as a missionary to those who have not yet heard it. I live my faith by sharing my faith and my testimony in Jesus Christ.
