Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in Woodland, WA. I work as a nurse at Peacehealth Southwest Medical Center. I grew up attending the Mormon church.

About Me

I am a graduate from Brigham Young University-Idaho. My wife is a graduate from there as well. I have been a nurse for about 8 years now and my wife and I have been married for 5 years. We have two little girls ages 2 1/2 and 1 1/2. I love to play golf and be outdoors. My family and I love the summer here in WA and plan on spending a lot of time exploring.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon has been great for my life. One of the most important things to me in this life is family. The Mormon Church has such a strong sense of family and of the eternal plan our Heavenly Father has for all families. The Book of Mormon and Bible has been a blessing in my life and in the life of my family. We strive to read from it daily.

How I live my faith

I attend church each week with my family and serve in the church as a counselor to a group of men who attend a Sunday class with me. I try and visit a few members of the church each month to fellowship with them and to see how they are doing.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Mark
Missionaries proselyte because they are trying to teach others about Christ and His life to every ear that wants to hear. When Christ was on the earth He told his disciples to feed His sheep. They are fulfilling the mission of Christ by trying to feed the people of the world the message of Christ's life, teachings and ultimate sacrifice for all people. Show more Show less
