Hi I'm Sarah Juarez

I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I come from a family of six, including myself. I've been blessed to have been born into the church and raised with these principles. My family is my whole life! I love them and couldn't imagine my life without them. I am a first year student studying Social Services. My dream is to become a Social Worker and help change the lives of others. I have a passion for helping others and I hope to accomplish my dream through my career one day. I have just received my mission call to serve in the Guatemala City South mission, which I am very grateful and excited for! I cannot wait to be a full-time missionary and share the knowledge of the restored gospel with my brothers and sisters in Guatemala!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy, truly happy! I have been through difficult times in my life and living the gospel has made my perspective change. I know that that principles that are taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are true and can bless lives! I have seen miracles in my life because of my faith. I am happy to know that I can live with my family for all eternity and once again live with my Father in Heaven and my Lord Jesus Christ. I am Mormon because there is no other way to return to live with God than through my faith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to become more like my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am far from perfect but I know that Christ has set the perfect example for me and I truly want to follow him. Praying daily and reading my scriptures has helped strengthen my faith. Faith is an action word. What we put in, is what we get out of it. One of my favourite scriptures is in the Book of Mormon, in the book of Alma chapter 32 verse 21. Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things but a hope for things which are not seen, which are true. We just need to plant our seeds of faith and nourish them and they will grow!
