Hi I'm Haily Bauserman

I am a Nurse, Gardener and Pinterest addict. I love my family. I am a Missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

The most important thing about me is - my Family. I am number 3 and the oldest sister of 10 children. Four Brothers - Five Sisters. I live on a small farm in Southeastern Ohio, complete with a horse, cows, dogs, and chickens. I love working together, taking care of the plants and flowers in our big gardens. We are a Work Hard-Play Hard family. It feels like a party all the time - we dance, make music, watch movies, start bonfires, and laugh a lot. Quoting the movie Ice-Age (a family favorite) - - " We are one Weird Herd! " I like being creative - Pinterest gets me in trouble sometimes. I'm a dreamer. I enjoy all kinds of reading, photography and music. I am a fan of anything chocolate. I like to plan, organize, and have a sense of control - when possible. I'm not ashamed of being a little nerdy. I like learning new things but I'm pretty old fashioned at heart. I graduated Ohio University with my Associates Degree of Registered Nursing. I plan on continuing my education and pursuing a career in Women's Health, Obstetrics, Midwifery/Natural Child Birth. I have received a call to serve as a missionary for the Church in the Armenia, Yerevan Mission Aug 2014 - Feb 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ blesses me and my family in so many ways, but I think the biggest thing for me is the knowledge and confidence it brings. Because of gospel - I am grateful to know that I have a loving Heavenly Father, who created a plan for me, a Plan of Happiness, so that I can become perfect and live with my family forever. I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God. It is another testament of Jesus Christ - and with the Bible testifies of the reality of His earthly ministry and Atonement. As we study and read the scriptures, we can learn how to become more like him. I have read it many times and each time I learn something new and specific to what I am going through in my life. The scriptures also provide strength and spirit of peace that cannot be found in any other book. Our Heavenly Father can give us answers to prayer and guide us with this Spirit, through the things we read in the scriptures. I also know that we have a living Prophet on the Earth today - just as in ancient days. Through him, Jesus Christ directs His Church. I know that as we chose to follow the words of His chosen servants in this modern day we will be blessed. I'm grateful for the Commandments that keep us safe and help us be happy. Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. He gave His life so that we would have a chance to repent and be the very best we can be. Through His Atonement ... all that is unfair... any pain...any sin or mistakes in our lives...can be made right. He knows we are far from perfect and will fall short over and over again, but He loves us still. I know this is true. The Atonement of Jesus Christ offers us a way to get back up, dust off and try again. I love Him with all my heart. I am Grateful for His Atonement. I know this Church is His Church and if we obey His Commandments we will be Happy.

How I live my faith

My faith plays such an important role my life - there isn't a day that goes by that I am not effected by it in one way or another. It is the reason I do the things I do and live the way I live. I play the Piano and Organ. I love playing every Sunday for our congregation. Music has a special ability to invite the Spirit before the meetings. The Hymns bring such a special peace that helps me focus on the Savior and His Atonement during the Sacrament. I also work as the Primary Secretary. Primary is Sunday School for children ages 4-11. My favorite part of being in Primary is - the kids - each one is unique. I love being in charge of making and sending them birthday cards in the mail. You can't replace the feeling of love from the sweet little thank-you hugs or excited shouts from across the room - 'Guess what!? I got a letter in the mailbox yesterday!' In April, I received a call to serve in the Armenia, Yerevan Mission. I will serve for 18 months, proselyting and giving humanitarian service. I am so excited be a tool in the hand of the Lord, building His Kingdom by bringing others closer to Christ.
