Hi I'm Kyle Williams

I'm from Utah, love to play QUIDDITCH, and I'm a MORMON

About Me

I love to cook, and Play Quidditch. went to the Quidditch World Cup in South Carolina at the end of April. I have three older brothers that went on missions, an older sister and a younger sister. graduated high school in 2013. I love to go out and just spend time with family, friends, and nature. my favorite past time is to help serve people and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

When reading about the miracles that Christ preformed, i could help but wonder if i would be able to do the same things that he did. Now i know that i can by the power of the priesthood. I know that Jesus is the Christ, and that HE LIVES, that he has come to atone for our sins especially mine. and without the atonement we wouldn't be able to return to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ loves each and everyone one of us. All He wants is for us to be happy. The greatest way we can feel His love and to show His love is to share with our friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers His Gospel. "When you are in the service of your fellow beings you are in the service of your God." Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ we are exercising our faith in him, having faith that we will be able to speak the words that the holy shall put into our hearts. We also exercise our faith by living and keeping the commandments that have been give to us throught prophets, seers, and revelators. So I love my faith by following the council of the prophet, loving the commandments and ultimately TRYING TO BECOME MORE CHRIST-LIKE!!!!!!!

What is the First Vision?

Kyle Williams
"The First Vision" is the result of centuries of people thinking that they had all the answers. During the course of time after the death of our Savior Jesus Christ and his apostles the spirit of God was absent as a constant companionship for all mankind. For many centuries people were making up their own churches. In the time of the 1800's there began to be a big excitement of religion, with all these different churches saying that they had the truth. People felt lost and confused, especially a young man of the age of 14, named Joseph Smith. At this time he read (James 1:5) which says: "If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." No passage of scripture influenced anyone in shuck a way as did this passage to Joseph Smith. he did as James directs, and ask God. On one spring morning Joseph went and retired to a grove of trees to be alone and ask God the desires of his heart in private. Joseph asking a simple question to God, received a simple answer, in his words: "I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other--This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!" This lead to the restoration of Christ Church here on earth! Show more Show less
