Hi I'm Randy

I am your average Provo Utah boy, I love the Gospel, I love people, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE people, food and music. Sounds like a party right? Well, that's how I like to live my life. Party hard LOL, MORMON STYLE. Life for me is really sweet. I love just about anything, sun shine to dark clouds, it's all so amazing what God has created for us. Kids to old people, we are all God's children. Really just about anything, I could tell you that I like it in some way or find something positive about it. I'm a "glass half full" kinda guy. The only things I really can't stand is open cupboard's. =D haha (Not really). I like to cook, mostly grill. Sports is big for me too, anything you can call a sport I'll play it. I may not rock every game but I'll try it. I can also clean, ha my mom raised me that way. Thanks mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being Mormon! =] I am a Mormon for many reasons but the keystone of my testimony is the Book of Mormon. Growing up, my mom and dad always taught me to be a good boy just as any good parents would do. When I was young I was living with my mom and 4 brothers and sisters. We didn't really go to church when I was about 6 or 7. I had friends that went to church and my older brother would also go. For awhile I would go to church by myself and soon after my family followed. My primary reason for going to church was defiantly friends but I believe God gave me a love for friends to bring my family to church. I was nothing but an instrument in the hands of the Lord. My mom continued to teach me about Jesus Christ and I continued to go to church. As I got older I remember people talking about something called the Spirit. I thought people were so stupid saying the felt the spirit. It came to the point that I didn't know if the church was for me. I had a really hard time with Joseph Smith and I didn't believe he was a prophet. One day at church I choose to go the pulpit and bear my testimony of what I did know was true. As I did so, the Spirit of God caught hold of my heart and I knew that everything I was taught was true. The most important event of all man kind was definitely the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The second most important event of all man kind was Joseph Smith seeing God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. If he did (which I know he did) see them, then he was a prophet of for sure. The way anyone can find out that he was a prophet is by reading and praying about the Book Of Mormon. In Joseph's Smiths ministry he translated the Book of Mormon, so that means that if the Book of Mormon is true then everything else he claims is true. I know that Jesus is the Christ, Joseph Smith was a prophet, the Book of Mormon is Gods word, and I know that God loves all his children.

How I live my faith

Well, I love to share the gospel. It's the best tasting cake in the world, you gotta share that. I do my best to live my faith by becoming as Christ-like as possible. I believe that we should always turn out ward to help others and always turn inward to see what we can do better. I know i'm not perfect but I try my best to improve everyday. I was missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church). My missionary service has helped my understanding of the gospel. Now I know what it really means to live by Christ teachings God's real! Don't believe? Just try.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Randy
Family is so important because it is in the family that we find so much joy in this life. It is our responsibility to help our family know and understand the gospel so true happiness can be attained now and after this life. Show more Show less
