Hi I'm Taylor

I'm serving a Spanish-speaking mission in Tennessee! I love being a missionary and sharing the good news of the restored Gospel!

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah as a member of the LDS church. My mom is a convert to the church and our family had the opportunity to be sealed together in the Jordan River Temple when I was young. After graduating high school I attended two semesters at the University of Utah and enjoyed my time there very much! I love riding horses and have competed with them across the United States and Canada. I love my family and am so thankful for the blessings of the temple that bind us together. I received my mission call to the Tennessee Nashville Mission and have been blessed to learn Spanish!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have prayed to my Heavenly Father and have felt that the Book of Mormon and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are true. I have felt the love of my Heavenly Father and of my Savior, Jesus Christ, in my life. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and did restore Christ's church to the earth. Through Jesus Christ's Atonement I have been healed from the things in my life that have caused me grief and pain. I know that my Savior lives. And because He lives I will live again with the people I love. I chose to serve a mission because the Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me the happiness, peace and guidance that I desire in my life and I want to share those feelings with others.

How I live my faith

Every morning I get to wake up and put on my missionary name tag. This tag has two names on it: mine and Jesus Christ's. Everyday it reminds me that as a full time missionary I represent Him. Because I represent Him I try my best to say what He would say, serve as He would serve and love as He would love if He were here. Everyday I strive to have the Spirit with me to guide me and to direct me. I study the Book of Mormon and the Bible, listen to the words of living prophets and pray with my whole heart for help from my Heavenly Father.
