Hi I'm Anne

I'm fond of music, art, and words, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying Art History at Brigham Young University. I love visiting art museums, and am fascinated by the ability of art to tell a story or communicate emotion in all its various forms and mediums, whether it be a painting, a performance, or a piece of music. I have grown to appreciate running, jazz music, watches, and puns. I also enjoy hiking, reading good books, and travelling.

Why I am a Mormon

Because of my beliefs, I know where I came from, who I am, and where I am going. My beliefs and membership in this church give me such joy and purpose. I know that I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me and wants me to be happy, now and for eternity. Strengthening my knowledge and testimony of this gospel has helped me to come to the realization of the divine potential that we all have as children of our Heavenly Father. I also know that my savior, Jesus Christ, died for me, knows me perfectly, and loves me unconditionally. I am thankful for my knowledge of the love that my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ have for me.

How I live my faith

I have always loved serving others, and try to find opportunities every day to help and serve those around me. There's something invigorating about forgetting my needs and worries and instead focusing on the needs of others. By looking for ways to serve and help people, I've found that I've gained a stronger ability to understand the ideas, experiences, and points of view of others, and have been able to develop a more Christlike love for those around me.
