Hi I'm Melissa

I'm a musician. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I play tuba at my school. I also play violin and I sing. Since I've been at school, I have picked up ukulele. I am studying Psychology and hope to study Neuropsychology later in my schooling.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church, but I continue to be a member because I have asked God for myself if this church was true. I know that it is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is really scripture and contains true doctrine. Because I know this, I live it. Because everyone has the right and ability to ask God what is the truth and to receive an answer, I know the truth, and I live it.

How I live my faith

Often, I help with music in my ward. Mostly I will pick the hymns that we sing in our women's organization. I will then lead the music. Sometimes I perform during our meetings or participate in the ward or stake choir. I love to attend all of our meetings and to go to the young adult activities. I study the scriptures daily, on my own and with my family. I pray at least twice a day on my own, I also pray often with my family.
