Hi I'm William Ng

I am an American Born Chinese (ABC) from Utah. I have a passion for breadth of knowledge and learning. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I joined the United States Army Reserve at age 18. I recently graduated from Utah Valley University with a dual major in Behavioral Science emphasis Psychology and Political Science. I was admitted to Brigham Young University's Masters of Public Administration program. I run half-marathons, read a lot, enjoy dating girls, and listening to classical music. I also enjoy attending plays, concerts, symphonies, and try new restaurants. I speak Mandarin Chinese and wish to pursue a career that will lead me to work on an international level. I have been called to serve a two year full-time mission in the China Hong Kong mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the LDS Gospel provides the full, restored, and unadulterated truth that Christ himself revealed through Joseph Smith. I have seen firsthand the blessings and opportunities the LDS church offers its members through covenants, commandments, modern day revelation, and moral guidelines. I have witnessed the veracity of the Book of Mormon as another testament to Jesus Christ and His teachings. The Book of Mormon brings forth and illuminates many ecclesiastical precepts that other religious denominations do not provide. I have a solemn testimony of the eternal nature of families and our spirits, that we may one day progress to live in the Celestial Kingdom, the highest degree of glory proffered in the afterlife.

How I live my faith

By attempting to live each day better than the last, I can testify of my faith through my daily actions. I actively engage in conversations with those around me concerning my religious beliefs to gain further knowledge of the world around me and the diversity of thought that exists.
