Hi I'm Anthony Gomez

I am 24 year-old from Virginia. I am proud owner of a fish. I am student studying Communications, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five kids, and I love my family to death. I've always been fascinated with story telling, which is why I get excited with film and movie making all together. Every time there is a new movie coming out I just drool over the storytelling methods and little trivia. Many times I think about me and the choices I make. How I am the main character of my own story, so want I my story to best the kind and the most fulfilling by spending time with my family and nurturing relationships.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon? That is a tough question to answer. I don't know why I am Mormon, I know why I am still in the LDS faith, and a good person. I associate with the church but in the end its not my title, its my identity. I am Mormon because I am a son of God. Its because I know its true. Its a simple statement but its the truth. I know God lives, and Jesus Christ died on the Cross at Calvary. I know that they both appeared to Joseph Smith in 1820 A.D in Palmyra, New York on a Spring morning. I know that its because of God's love that I can be truly happy, and never thirst for anything else because its the same gospel when he preached it on the Earth back 2000 years ago. I know there are living prophets and apostles on the planet again. Its all been restored. Its the same from the beginning. I follow Christ, that is why I am Mormon, LDS, or a believer. Its because I know who I am, and who God is.

How I live my faith

I've served a mission to Texas, Fort Worth four years ago, and ever since I haven't had greater office in the church. Once I was finished I was just another civilian living the gospel like everyone else, but what I got from my mission was the passion to share it with others. This will happen at work, at school, or even on a random bus ride when I am reading the Book of Mormon. Everywhere I go I am surrounded by my brothers and sisters who are searching for the truth, but they don't know where to find it. I am happy to say that I live my faith through example, I love the gospel. The thing about loving it, is that I can never hold onto for myself, because love deserves to be shared.
