Hi I'm John Summit

I'm a sports fan who gets very passionate about my teams. I am American through and through.

About Me

I'm John. I am going to Utah State University and will graduate in 2015 with a degree in Political Science. I have a love for America and want to use my career to help my country however I can. I have a huge interest in sports. My favorite teams are the Utah Jazz, Arizona Cardinals, and USU aggies. I have ten siblings and love them all. Family is very important to me and I love the role the Gospel has played in my personal life as well as in my family growing up. I served a mission in Tucson, Arizona. I want to eventually be married in the temple and have a family of my own someday. I look forward to many more adventures in life and want to help spread the Lord's word on the earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because God has told me through the Holy Ghost that the church is true. I feel good when I do whats right and I feel bad when I make mistakes. I am not perfect but I am striving to do what God wants and expects me to do. Whenever I get down I try and remember the Savior. He went through things and suffered more than I ever will. I also am Mormon because of my family. Growing up I was just expected to be a good righteous person. I eventually had to gain my own testimony rather than just relying on my family. One person that is very influential in my life is one I have never met in this life. I have a brother that died before I was born. I have felt his influence in my life as he watches over me. I know he is in heaven and I want to live my life in a way that he would be proud of me. I want all my family to be proud of me. I especially want my Heavenly Father and the Savior to be proud of me. I want to devote my life to serving others and in doing so I have faith that I will be happy.

How I live my faith

I try to live by example. I try to be very involved in my ward. I love all the activities and things that the church has to help its members. I love sharing the gospel and look for moments throughout the day to share my beliefs with others.
