Hi I'm Chase Andrews

I grew up in Florida. I was a semi-pro beach volleyball player. I am a general contractor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of four girls and a boy. I am the owner of a custom home construction company. I am a semi-pro beach volleyball player. I am a stake president in the LDS church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because at a very young age I felt the Holy Spirit testify to me of the truthfulness of this religion. I was just 11 years old when I talked with other youth my age about the Book of Mormon which I had just read. As I talked about it, I had a peaceful feeling come over me that brought tears to my eyes. This was not a feeling that I had been seeking, nor at that age did I want to cry in front of my friends. But I knew ts was the Holy Spirit testifying to me of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. This and many other experiences like it have formed for me what we call a testimony or undeniable belief that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth. It is this testimony that helps me to try to follow the Savior's example each day so that I can feel the Holy Spirit in my life and find the only true and lasting happiness. True happiness is having the Holy Spirit in your life and ultimately being with your family after this life. I know it is possible.

How I live my faith

I was recently asked to be the stake president, the ecclesiastical leader of a geographic area known as a stake. Prior to being asked to do this I served 3 years as a bishop, the ecclesiastical leader for a slightly smaller geographic area. Both of these assignments required 2 to 3 nights a week and most of the day on Sunday visiting with people in my geographic area and making sure that their spiritual and physical needs were met. Some might consider this a heavy or time consuming assignment, but God has blessed me and my family far more than my efforts could ever warrant.
