Hi I'm Deanna

I'm a nurse. I love to laugh and spend time with my family.

About Me

I am a nurse. I graduated from BYU-Idaho. My family is very important to me, and I love spending time with them. I love to find humor in life. I like to sing, and listening to music. I love the church because it gives me so much direction in my life. I served a mission in New York city in hopes of bringing what makes me the most happy to others. I have been a member of this church my whole life since I grew up in an LDS family. I have always known it was true, but there have been moments in my life that my faith and testimony have been strenthend. On my mission when I was sharing with the people in NYC about Gods love for them was amazing. Then I went through a very significant trial in my life. This experience caused me to feel so much emotional pain every day. I would pray for help, and began to wonder if there really was someone there. Then after months I realized that God has always been there loving me and supporting me. I know that I am stronger then I was before and I am so grateful for what I have learned. I know that this church is true, and I know that God lives. I know he loves us and wants us to be happy. I know sometimes he lets us go through things to help us learn and gain experience. Though my experience was rough it has helped me turn to God for help. I am grateful for the savior and for the price he paid. I am grateful that he lived and died so that we can live with God again.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My parents were members, and they taught me about the church. Eventually I gained a testimony on my own of it's truthfulness. Now I realize that it is the church that brings me the most peace and joy in my life. If gives me so much comfort to know about the doctrines that we teach about how I can live with my family forever and that because of the Savior I can live with God again someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by daily doing what I can to be better then the day before. I look for opportunities to serve others or make their day a little better. Right now I serve as a family history consultant. I try to help people find their ancestors and do their genealogy.
