Hi I'm Craig

I am a Mormon and have been all of my life. However, I have discovered it to be true by study and prayer. You can do the same.

About Me

I have been married since 1966 to Sharon. We have seven children and 14 grandchildren. For over 30 years I have worked in the Financial Services industry and have obtained my CLU, CFP and LUTCF designations. I am a radio amateur with the call sign of KE7YAY with a general class license. I sing as a bass in The MasterWorks Chorale and enjoy reading, Scuba Driving and flying.

Why I am a Mormon

I have studied the beliefs of many Christian and non-Christian faiths and have developed a great understanding and respect for them. I have found however, a greater understanding of who I am and why I am here on this earth, where I came from, and my Eternal potential through my studies of the teachings and doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that the Savior lives and knows me personally. As a Christian and disciple of Jesus Christ I strive to share my beliefs by living the teachings of my Savior and "where necessary by word". I believe in God, the Father of Jesus Christ, who speaks to me through the scriptures and a living Prophet today.

How I live my faith

I have had the privilege of working side by side with the religious leaders of many other faiths, both Christian and non-Christian as I have served as the Public Affairs Director in our area and have gained much from their faith and devotion. I am a Hometeacher and have the joy of visiting several families each month to leave a message and determine where I might be of service to them. I have the responsibility to organize blood drives three time a year and assist in supplying boxes of food to the schools in the area for the needy at Thanksgiving time. I am also the secretary in the High Priest group in our ward.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We lost a son at the age of 11. My belief in the Plan of Happiness lets me know that we will be together again as a family and that his cancer laden body will be whole again. The family is Eternal and thus my wife and children and I will be together forever doing wonderful things together. I love doing genealogy and finding my forefathers for that very reason.
