Hi I'm Austin Gee

I'm from a small town in Kentucky. I love the gospel, spending time with my family, playing sports & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 18 yr. old senior at west carter high school in Kentucky. I am preparing to depart on a two yr. mission for the church in which I depart for July 2. I enjoy playing sports and have committed to play college basketball when I return home. Throughout my life I have been the only member in my school and one of the 3 in my county (the other two being my sisters.) and I've come to learn that the church is where my heart is always. I love this sacred gospel and look forward to doing my part to hasten the work in my assigned area. Christ has truly blessed me and because of him and his restored gospel I am the person I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I need the truth in my life. the peace that this gospel brings is truly essential to me in my life. The gospel gives me an assurance, a hope, and a love that I know i cant get from anywhere else. I have faith in and believe that the Lords church is restored upon the earth in these Latter days and that because of this church we can be with our families forever. there is so much that this church has placed in front of me and I know that if we center our lives and make Christ our foundation we will never fall; just as his church or his institutions shall never fall.

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I have been extremely involved in my community; from being on the flood & tornado disaster relief team to being a 5 yr. volunteer at the local special Olympics I have witnessed the hand of God touch the lives of everyone around me. During my lifetime in the church I've held many sacred callings and I have witnessed many events through the church in which have ministered to my faith and help strengthen my testimony of this great church.
