Hi I'm Cassidy

I live, and have been raised in Florida. I'm an actress and a performer. I plan on chasing my dreams. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am an actress. Performing is my everything. It is my passion, hobby, and so much more! Ever since I was little, even before I set foot on a stage I knew that this is what I wanted to do. When everybody else wanted to be a ballerina or a fireman, I wanted to be an actress. Once I finally did set foot on a stage I fell in love! My family has always been supportive of my acting career, no matter how bad the show might have been, or how expensive the tickets were, I can always count on them being there. Especially my sister, she is my rock. Her and I decided that everybody in the world has a soul mates, some people marry theirs, some people are best friends with theirs, and for some people, their soul mate is there sibling. My sister is my absolute soul mate, we are two very different peas in a pod. Her and I are absolute opposites but can never be separated! She is on a mission right now and saying goodbye to her was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Before her mission the longest we were apart was 3 days and 4 nights. She is older than me and is with out a doubt my absolute role model. She shows the pure love of Christ in everything that she does. Anyway, enough about her... I love this church with all my heart. It has been there for me when I couldn't rely on anything else. While sometimes it can be a bit challenging to be obedient to all the standards I know that it is for my benefit!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was about 6 years old, my parents were converted to this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My cousin is Mormon and she was getting married in the temple. When my father didn't get an invitation to the wedding but just the reception he inquired why. There reasoning was that nonmembers couldn't attend the temple. This sparked an interest in my father and he started to investigate the church. He ordered a Book of Mormon and read it in an amount of two weeks. The day that he was on his last page, two LDS missionaries came knocking on our door. I know that heavenly father sent them there at that time because if it was a month earlier then my dad would have kindly avoided talking to them. Now that he had researched their church, he answered the door and asked if they could teach us everything they knew, and asked if our family could go to church with them so they could show us around. The missionaries were ecstatic. Since I have been in this church, good times are better, and hard times are easier. I am closer to my family. I learn more everyday how to love people. This church has taught me to be the person that I have always dreamed of being and I can't imagine my life without this gospel.

How I live my faith

I have just left the youth program of this church. I finally came of age to join the adults. For the past four years I have attended seminary before high school, along with attended church on Sundays, and youth activities on Wednesdays.
