Hi I'm Mary Alice Abrams

I'm an artist, outdoor enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything that has to do with art or nature. I am in Illustration major at BYU, with a minor in art education. I want to be able to help others find their passion, the way my art teachers helped my find mine. If I'm not painting, I'm fly-fishing or hiking. I am blessed to call the canyons of Utah home. I am always on the lookout for a new adventure. My journeys take me to the tops of mountains, into freezing cold river water, and even sometimes close to near death or serious injury experiences (haven't broken a bone yet). However I have always come out of these experiences unscathed and with a great campfire story. I'm proof that God has a sense of humor, because I find myself laughing at my "misadventures" a lot. He has always been able to help me find a way out of harm's way.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I love Jesus Christ. I know that it is by him that we can be saved, and that everything he did and continues to do for us is purely because he loves us, and I want other people to be able to know that too. Good always triumphs over evil, and that is because of what Christ did for us.

How I live my faith

I am about to leave to serve a mission in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am anxious to respond to my call to serve, and am currently spending most of my time preparing for that. As a break from my call to prepare for that, I also serve in the primary in my home ward.
