About Me

I am a family person. I am very close to my family. I love helping people, hearing stories and spending time with people. I love sports and being adventurous. The outdoors and nature is a wonderful place to be. Kids are the cutest, I love spending time with my little cousins and being goofy. I also love being creative, doing slide shows and scrap booking is something I really enjoy doing.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child I always followed what my parents taught me. I lived with my father and he was very religious. I love my father and I saw the love that he had for the church, I knew that I should love it also. But why? because of my father? Well that was the start of it. In my teenage years I lived with my mother. She is not active in the church anymore. I always considered myself Mormon and followed the rules of the church the best I could. I would always think but why am I a Mormon? I knew it was the right church because of my childhood, the way I felt about it and my father loved it so much. Why would he love and put so much time and effort into a church if it was not true? After high school when I started going to college the second year I decided to look more into it. I always knew it was true because of others but I wanted my own testimony of the church. So I started talking to the bishop, going to church regularly, praying more often and read my scriptures and talks from church leaders. It took time and a lot of patients but it was worth the wait. I now have my own testimony of this church. It was not easy. It is hard but if you put your whole heart and soul into it, be patient and never give up I promise you He will not give up on you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying to my Father in Heaven every morning and night. I gain knowledge by reading and studying the scriptures as often as I can. I go to the temple every week to help families be together forever. I take the sacrament every sunday to renew my covenants with God. I love to bare my testimony to anyone who needs it and try and be a better person everyday.
