Hi I'm Katianne

I'm from Brazil. I was batized in a one year ago. I'm very happy, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a second of three kids. I have two sisters. I really love my family and I enjoy stay with them. I live in a small town in the State called Paraiba but I was born in São Paulo. I like going to the cinema, watch movies in my home with my family, going out with my friends, listen to music. This year I go to the college and I'm very excited about it. I want to do degree in English.

Why I am a Mormon

I never attended church. I never felt good in a church. During my life I didn't think I could be happy in any church. I found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the internet. I spent almost two years researching about the church, but I never had the courage to go. I was very curious about the Book of Mormon, but had never read the book. So I decided to read. I tried to find the Elders on the street, but never could. One day I thought: if I find one of those guys around me I ask about the book. Then one day I was coming home from work and two elders boarded the bus and they sat in front of me. I took a chance and talked to them. The next day they went to my house and showed me the book and I could finally have a Book of Mormon. I haven't read the book and I was not up to the church, as I had promised the elders. A few months. One day I was very sad because my grandmother was very sick and I remembered the book. I decided to read. I felt a peace in my heart, I can't explain, but I felt like the Lord calmed my heart. I decided that day that I would go to the church. I tried to find someone who could go with me, but I could not. My younger sister decided to go with me and we arrived very early in the chapel. We feel an unexplainable peace. Well, nine days after me and my younger sister were baptized. I don't regret I have researched, sought the lengthy time required. Today I'm very happy because I understand Heavenly Father's plans for our lives. I am grateful to Heavenly Father for all the paths I took to get here. I'm really happy. I'm Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am a teacher in the primary in my ward. I am very happy with this call because I learn a lot from children. I think it's wonderful to serve in the church, helping those in need. I always learn so much and I can count the blessings of my life.
