Hi I'm Wendy

I am a Mormon grandmother of 17 grandchildren and love to golf, travel, and enjoy my family. I take long walks: across countries.

About Me

My formal education is a nursing degree which I have used at different phases of my life. I also became a massage therapist and ran my clinic for about 10 years. My interests seem to take me outdoors to work in the yard, walk, take a bike ride or golf. I love the beauty of nature and enjoy travelling to see the grand and diverse landscapes. I love weather of all kinds and enjoy living in a 4 season climate.

Why I am a Mormon

I find complete doctrine within the church. Comparing it to the church established by Jesus, I find no difference. I have seen the priesthood authority used to bless those who are ill with miraculous results. When I prayed, asking God if this is His restored church on Earth, I had a positive answer that has left a lasting impression on my mind and heart. It would be impossible for me to not believe after such a spiritual witness. Anyone who sincerely asks, as I did, will also have the truth taught them. The key is to be completely sincere and expect to act on the answer you get. The gospel of Jesus Christ as it is found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints will change your life for the better if you allow it to. Following the standards set by God has kept me out of trouble. I have been able to build on good health by follow the health code and suggestions. I have been surrounded by wonderful friends of all faiths and have always felt comfortable talking about our religions. There is so much good found in every religion and I have learned much from others who love and serve God. Since I believe that God have once again provided his children on Earth with His Fullness of the Gospel I feel a need to share some of my religion with friends. I have never lost a friend over our conversations about religion and many have joined the church following their own answer to prayer. The church has been my greatest strength as my husband and I raised 5 children. As a woman in leadership I have never felt slighted, unheard or unfulfilled. Working along side true gentlemen and spiritual leaders has been a rewarding journey.

How I live my faith

My faith is the guiding force in my life. I always feel I can trust the answers to my prayers and go ahead with confidence in the direction I am guided. I enjoy peace and contentment because of the love I feel from God. It has been my privilege to have worked with young people of all ages in the church. Most of my time has been teaching and mentoring young girls between the age of 12 to 18. The women's organization has also provided me with ample service projects, teaching experiences and fun allowing me to learn and have many wonderful friends. For 45 years I have enjoyed an active life in the church and community structure. I know that serving others brings true happiness.
