Hi I'm Camille Marie Andrus

I love wakeboarding, rockclimbing, and skydiving. I'm thankful for God's earth. I'm serving in T.H.E. Mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the beautiful wine country of the California Central Coast as the oldest of 5 children. Through SkillsUSA I was ranked 4th in the nation in Health Care skills. I love biking, hiking, wakeboarding, skiing, rockclimbing, kayaking, and skydiving. I love adventure, especially when it allows me to view and appreciate this beautiful earth that God has given us. I am a student at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I am an Exercise Science Major and a Dance Minor working towards a career in Pediatric Physical Therapy. I was recently called to serve a Spanish-speaking mission in the Texas Houston East Mission. I love my family and my God, and am so thankful for the many blessings and opportunities I have been given.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know that it is the true and restored gospel on the earth today. I have read the Book of Mormon and pondered the things which I have read. I have fervently prayed to the Lord to know for myself if this gospel and this church is true. It is true. I experienced the warm, serene comfort of the Spirit of God confirming to me that this gospel is the true gospel of God. I have tried my faith by acting worthily on impressions I receive, and I have built a motivating faith that has helped me change my life to a more full, enriched state. I have seen the truth of Christ's Atonement in my life, and I know that I can repent and have my sins forgiven me because of His great mercy and compassion. I know that this Church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God to restore the church on this earth. I know that my Heavenly Father has a plan for me that will help me return to Him through His love. Simply put, I know that God is real.

How I live my faith

I live my faith first and foremost by living my life in accordance to the teachings and commandments of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I have served leadership positions in the church throughout my life, and I have been in various committees designed to organize events for the church and the church youth. Throughout my life, I have participated in countless service projects both for individual families, and for the community as a whole. Right now I am preparing to serve an 18 month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Texas Houston East Mission where I will preach the gospel and invite others to come unto Christ.
