Hi I'm Susan Routson

I was raised in Oregon. I'm a book lover! I'm a tennis player! I'm a big ice-cream eater! And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a large family with ten other siblings. I loved it and hope to have my own large family some day. My family is my life! We don't always get along perfectly, but we always work it out and stick together. From a young age I knew that I wanted to work with kids, and so I am now going to college and working towards becoming an elementary teacher. I immensely enjoy playing all sorts of sports from soccer and basketball to tennis. I love riding horses, going on 50 Miler hikes with my family, and eating tons of ice-cream.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know the church is true! Being a Mormon makes me happy and gives me purpose and hope! From being a member of the LDS church I have come to know that my Heavenly Father loves me! He is always there looking out for me and if I ever need Him all I have to do is pray. He will help me with the big and small difficulties that I face. Knowing that there is someone constantly there for me who knows me better than anyone else is a huge comfort in my life. Life is so much better knowing that God lives and loves me!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the small and simple things I do each day. Each day I make a priority to pray and read my scriptures. I'm not perfect and some days I miss reading my scriptures, but I can tell the difference between the days I read and pray from the days I don't. As I have done these small and simple things my testimony has grown and my relationship with my Heavenly Father has increased. I am blessed to have the gospel in my life!
