Hi I'm Olivia

My home town is Layton Utah, and I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I'm a young adult attending college to one day become a registered nurse. I love to run and I love the outdoors. I believe in working hard in everything you do.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church, at first I relied on my families and friends testimonies, as I exercised my faith in Jesus Christ and this gospel, I soon gained my own testimony. I know this gospel is real, I know our Savior Jesus Christ died for us so that we could live with God again. I know that I am a daughter of God and that we have a loving Heavenly Father who loves us more than we can ever imagine and that he has a plan for every single one of us. I know angels and our father in heaven are with us and cheering us on every single day to return to our home above again some day. I know God hears and answers our prayers. I know that if you act on just a seed of faith, your faith will soon grow into a beautiful rose. I love this gospel and it has blessed my own life tremendously. I wouldn't be the person I am today without it. God is real. God is love. God is happiness. I know if you live worthily and strive to be like Jesus Christ you will be blessed in so many ways. You will be happier than you have ever been in your life, I have experienced this with my own life. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God, and I know Thomas S. Monson is a modern day prophet called of God. I know he receives revelation from God to help us on this earth. I know the Book of Mormon is true and is a testament of Jesus Christ. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving as a ward missionary, I get to check up on those in the ward who may need a little extra love and hope in their lives. I have also received my own mission call to be a missionary and represent Jesus Christ. I will get to teach others about Jesus Christ and share my love for this gospel and the happiness and hope it brings to peoples lives.

What is being a Mormon like?

Olivia
Being a mormon is exciting. It is choosing to become more like Jesus Christ every day. Being a mormon is recieving happiness never before felt and hope in all things through practing daily scripture study, prayer, and attending church. It is fearing God more than man, and saying no to worldy desires. It is finding peace in a noisy world. I love being a mormon. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Olivia
Faith is like a muscle. To become strong you must excercise it, and if you don't exercise it, it becomes weak. Faith is starting with something simple like a seed that grows into something beautiful. Faith is like a wild flower, if shared can spread into hundreds of other flowers. Faith is "hoping for things wich are not seen, which are true." (Alma 32:21) Faith is believeing and hoping with all your heart for something not seen. Faith starts with hoping and turns into knowing. It takes time to develop, and you have to practice it or you will lose it. Faith is not only believing in God, but trusting in God. Faith is being obedient to Gods commandments. Faith is being positive and hopeful in all things. Show more Show less
