Hi I'm Mary McLaughlin

I'm a wife and mother of five children. I love life! I love spending time with friends and family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a busy mom running a household where many come and go and my home is full of love and laughter. I love spending time with teenagers and I am so excited about the future of our nation and world when I see the faith and goodness in the rising generation. I love studying about health and nutrition and the best way to take care of our physical bodies. I love going to the gym and really pushing myself to my physical limits. I also love studying health and nutrition and I love preparing healthy meals for my family. I have learned that we each have incredible potential to be unlocked by discovering who we really are and by living to the full measure of our creation. We each have a purpose and a divine work. I have a degree in English and reading is one of my favorite hobbies. I love finding and sharing great books!

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! I love the Bible and its companion, The Book of Mormon, that testify and teach of Christ, and help all sincere readers to come to know Him more fully and to become more like Him. I love having a living prophets to guide and direct me and my family. I have always been abundantly blessed by following their direction. I'm grateful for the priesthood power and the abundant blessings it has brought into my life. I'm grateful for temples and the sacred work I have had the opportunity to participate in. Most importantly, I'm so grateful for my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ! I'm grateful He believed in me enough to die for me and provide me with the way that I can be resurrected and have eternal life. I love Him with all of my heart and I will follow Him all of my days.

How I live my faith

I am fortunate to serve with the youth in my church. They are examples of faith, hope, and love as true followers of Christ in these last days when many are lost and know not where to find God. I see their light and influence for good and they help me to have greater faith and to reach out and desire to share my light and testimony of Christ with others. They have brought so much happiness into my life. Like all couples, my husband and I have had our share of trials while raising our family. I have come to learn personally of the power of the atonement of Jesus Christ as I have learned to patiently turn to Him and trust Him and His timing. I know that He is very aware of me and that He loves me individually.
