I'm now looking forward to know South Africa and the children of our Heavenly Father living there

How I live my faith

I was born in the church and my parents always taught me, by their good example of how to live the gospel. I had the joy of living in a large family with 2 brothers and 4 sisters, but I personally have had difficulties in converting me to the gospel. My conversion took place one evening, I had discovered that I had missed my scholar year, and until then, I had never imagined to find myself in that situation! I was 16. I knelt, and I prayed to the Lord that I could know my next goals. I felt that I should open the scriptures and my reading took me to D & C section 42. I started with the first verse, and gradually, I came to verse 6, I could not hold back my tears, I was unable to continue my reading. Then without a doubt, I knew what I was supposed to do, my testimony suddenly came clear to me. Today, it's been almost 3 years since, and I am glad to be able to serve my savior and my fellowmen. These years have gone to fast, but I feel ready to serve. I bear you my testimony that, I know that God lives, I know that Jesus-Christ has resurrected and that he answers our prayers, and I know that if we make the first step, the Lord will always do the second one, as we can read in Doctrine and Covenants. I can also testify that Joseph Smith was prophet of God, that he restored the true church of Jesus-Christ, just like it was organized when the Lord was on earth. I know that the church of Jesus Christ of Later Saints is that same true church, with a Prophet and 12 apostles, that represents and receives revelations from him, for our benefit.
